Positive feedback from the Pacific island countries

Not only are Australia and New Zealand companies interested in our summit, but also the enterprises from the Pacific island countries, such as: Fiji, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, Samoa, Nauru, Vanuatu, Marshall Islands and Solomon Islands, have responded positively. They are very interested in China and Australian enterpises, and also look forward to the cooperation with Chinese enterprises. The entrepreneurs in these regions would come to China to investigate and hope to find more opportunities. These local businesses also have their own advantages: low raw material costs and labor prices. They hope that these advantages could be transformed into profits and they could make more contributions for the economic development of these island countries. They also hope that Australia International Trade Association and this summit could be a bridge linking China and introduce a number of cooperation projects to realize win-win situation between China and these countries in Oceania.
