Chinese Consul-general of Sydney attended ACSCS

With the invitation of the Hon Ken Smith who is the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Victoria and the Chairman of ACSCS & ACBS,Hu Shan (the then Chinese Consul-general of Sydney) attended and made speech in 2009 Australasia-China Sister Cities & Australasia-China Business Summits in NSW Parliament House.Hu Shan presented the exchanges and cooperation in various fields between Australia and China is increasingly in-depth, but there is significant development space in non-governmental exchange.He appreciated ACSCS which made huge contribution in non-governmental exchange between Australia and China so that deepen matual understanding and trust between people.

The Hon Bob Baldwin (Shadow Minister for Defence Science of Australia Federal Parliament)、Julie Bishop (Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia Federal Parliament) and some Australian politicans also attended ACSCS.Additionally, nearly 200 government officials and entrepreneurs of more than 50 cities in both countries attended ACSCS.
