The basic responsibilities of Insurance Association of China are self-discipline, rights, services and communication. It maintains a fair competitive market environment, makes self-discipline by signing the Convention and develops industry standards and industry guidance to restrain misconduct provisions; promotes the professional ethics of honesty and trust and establishes a credit system; strengthens the self-management, the supervising practice and the self-discipline for insurance practitioners and intermediaries.
