Chinese Television and Radio Artists Association

    The Chinese Television and Radio Artists' Association was established in April of 1985. It now has more than 2,800 members which including CCTV, local satellite TV stations, and etc. Its subordinated organs include the Television Artistic Theory Research Society, Television Opera Research Society and the Ethnic Minority Television Art Research Society. It publishes the magazines, Modern TV (monthly) and Popular TV and a newspaper, China TV Information.

     The Chairman of Chinese Television and Radio Artists Association, Zhao Huayong is a formal president of CCTV, at that time he concerned and supported international communication with overseas counterpart. He made great efforts to improve cooperation relationship with Australian TV stations on technology transfer, program purchase, event co-organizing, and professionals exchange etc so that Australian TV stations like Channel 7 still maintain sound cooperation relationship with Chinese counterparts especially with CCTV.

      As Chairman of Chinese Television and Radio Artists Association, Zhao Huayong plays an active role in media industry to promote Australian-China media communication and cooperation. Representatives from Chinese Television and Radio Artists Association will participate in media summit, which will be a platform for media from Australasian region to communicate, get better understanding with each other, explore cooperation opportunities, establish friendly relationship and seek long-term strategic partnership etc.
