Chongqing Municipal People’s Association for Foreign Friendship is one non-governmental organization, which is dedicated to the foreign folk friendly exchanges and is one group member of Chinese people’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Counties. Its purpose is “developing understanding and friendship of the peoples between China and the world, promoting mutual economic, social, cultural, technological and educational exchanges and cooperation, safeguarding world peace.”
