Sophie Cotsis MP

Sophie Cotsis is a Labor Member of the Legislative Council in the NSW Parliament.

She is currently the Shadow Minister for Local Government, Industrial Relations and Status of Women.

Sophie was born in Canterbury and grew up in St George district. The majority of her primary schooling was at Canterbury South Public School and then Kingsgrove Public School. She attended Kingsgrove High School. Sophie is married with two children.

Previous Occupations, retail, shiftworker, Sydney Airport, Project Officer Labor Council of NSW, Organiser with Liquor and Hospitality Division LHMU, Policy Advisor in Office of Hon. Michael Costa - Minister for Transport and Treasurer, Manager Parsons Brinckerhoff (Infrastructure Company). Interests; history, reading, swimming, basketball, soccer and rugby league.
